This course aims to acquaint students with essential skills in writing and types of paragraphs. This semester, the course will focus on developing students' knowledge in basic writing elements, such as developing ideas, topic sentences, supporting and concluding sentences. Descriptive and definition paragraphs will be introduced. Students will also need to participate in other writing-related activities, such as reading, discussion, peer review, and individual conference.
